Why InMobile?
New Technologies advent the world one after the other. Businesses need to catch up with technologies in order to grow and even to survive. E-Commerce took the world by storm and most of the businesses came to the internet. Customers moved from the brick and mortar stores to the e- Stores. Desktops became shopping outlets connected to the world wide webs. Then came business-to-business applications and e-Marketplaces. Now comes another Technology called the wireless with compact displays but with much more user-base. Intelligence demands that wireless world gets a compact view on the Internet world instead of spawning its own new world of commerce. But, the information needs to be scaled down if the presentation has to be on the mobile devices. The scaling down needs to be done by owner or the user on the basis of choice. We, at Bilvac Technomanagement, ventured into this model and created our InMobile software tool. Configurator does the scale down and Mobilizer provides the window to the web for the Mobile device.

What is InMobile?

InMobile suite comprise Configurator, the configuration component and Mobilizer , the WAP server component. Configurator transcodes the web data sources which include Internet or intranet applications and helps defining the wireless presentation. Any standard HTML based presentation is transcoded and presented in a configurable pattern. Wireless presentation can be designed by choosing the visual components using the sophisticated WYSIWYG Configurator tool. The user selections are persisted onto a database. The Mobilizer can handle Configurator persisted data, and other data sources including ERP systems (SAP), IBM mainframes, and web enabled client-server applications. The data from these data sources are transmitted in mobile readable formats for display on WAP phones and other mobile devices.
